Chrome bridge

Your Chrome, one approved tab group.

Open Desktop Agent can use your own signed-in Chrome profile for tasks that need it. The Chrome bridge extension creates one blue Agent tabs group and lets the local app read and control only the tabs in that group.

Pairing and control

  1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. In Open Desktop Agent, open Settings → Chrome, enable the bridge and click Start pairing.
  3. Enter the app’s pairing code in the extension popup.
  4. Type the confirmation code shown by the extension back into the app.

The native host manifest allowlists the extension’s exact id. Disconnecting in the popup, pausing, or revoking pairing in the app stops control. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage.
